To imagine the dimensions of a standard shipping container, think of the tents at clothing markets - shopping areas with jeans and jackets are often set up in just such containers.
The minimum size of a shipping container is 20ft. It is a box that is 6 metres long and has a volume of 29 cubic metres. It can normally hold everything for a flat or small country house of 100-120 square metres: tiles, sanitary ware, furniture, decorations and other items.
For an order for a country house, cafe or restaurant with an area of 150-180 square metres and more there are three container variants: the 40-foot container with volume of 56 cubic metres, the 40-foot High Cube with volume of 76.3 cubic metres and the 45-foot container - the biggest container with volume of 85 cubic metres.
What else does the choice of container depend on?
Bear in mind that all goods are packed differently, so the final choice of container volume depends on each item on the order. One-piece furniture and rattan items, for example, will take up far more space in the container than flat-pack furniture.
How is the shipping cost generated?
The container with the order sails by sea and the shipping price depends on the capacity of the container and the distance to the nearest port in the region: for Russian customers it is Vladivostok for example, for Belarusians it is Riga or Klaipeda. This price is influenced by maritime regulations: for example, the amount of maritime freight or payment for contracted cargo varies every 15 days.
How long does it take for the order to arrive?
The delivery of the container from China to Belarus and Russia takes about 45 days.

Since shipping by sea is long and the container has to travel through several climatic zones before it can be shipped, parasites can overgrow in furniture, textiles and other goods.
That is why before packing your cargo our specialists always order the container treatment with special compounds against harmful bacteria, insects and rodents.
